HMRC announce CT online filing update

HMRC have announced that in preparation for mandatory online filing from 1 April 2011, changes are being made to the service on 23 November 2009, which may affect users of third party software.

Users are encouraged to check with their provider as soon as possible, to determine if the changes made will enable them to use the service after this date.

In view of the introduction of mandatory filing, it is worth bearing in mind that some companies accounting periods that will be covered by mandatory online filing, are already underway. It is not too soon to start thinking about what your firm's requirements will be, once 2011 is upon us.
