New HMRC VAT penalty guide available

HMRC have published a new brief guide to VAT penalties, following the FA2007 penalty regime effectively becoming operative from 1 April last year.

This contains a useful summary of the penalty weighting, under the new non-deliberate/deliberate/deliberate and concealed categorisation of errors.
